D’oh

I totally forgot to post yesterday. I don’t know what happened with that. I did my grocery shopping yesterday and that was a pain so maybe that was it! lol. I really needed to go, so I’m glad I did. I bought some chicken to make in the Instant Pot. I thought it was. nice size package with a bunch of chicken breasts in it. It was packaged with three HUGE chicken breasts. I mean HUGE. LOL. They were so big, that I used two in the IP with some bbq sauce and froze the other one.   I will fix it later. I SHOULD have cut it into small portions but I didn’t think about it at the time. Oops.

I washed my dishes today and that was another thing I needed to do! I have to mow the front again either tomorrow or Sunday.  I don’t want to do that either, but it has to be done.  I am glad I remembered to blog today! My favorite digital planner shop on Etsy, DPCDigitals released the CUTEST sticker sets today. I bought them and I love them. I decorated today’s daily page with some of them. Small photo shoot…

I did a small photoshoot today. I had to go out to mail holiday cards to local people.  I checked my post office box while there and then went to Starbucks.  I also swung by Lowe’s to pick up something.  After getting Starbucks, I went to the park and took a few pictures.  I also took a few at home. Here are a few I picked to share.

One of the outside with the charm and one open with the first insert showing.  The little plastic pockets are an Eric Condren insert I got on Amazon that fits perfectly!  It has three slots on the front, two larger ones on the back of that side (as shown), and the back of the insert is one big clear envelope. 🙂

Apple Pencil and my iPad Mini 5!

I’ve been loving the new iPad mini and the Apple pencil.  I’ve been going through the apps I have on it that you can digital bullet journal on and I am pretty sure I’ve settled on GoodNotes.  I have imported a ton of stuff in there and found that you can import stickers and pictures in. It’s so cool! I may switch over to bullet journaling digitally. I’m enjoying playing with all the freebies I’ve found in the past few days.  It’s fun!

I also have ZoomNotes, but it’s complicated. I’d like to learn more about it and learn to use it as it has things that GoodNotes doesn’t. GoodNotes is pretty nifty, though. I also have it on my Mac and I can sync everything from the iPad to the Mac and vice versa via iCloud. I am thinking of setting up my own digital journal for 2022.  I am working on one now with freebies I’ve found. I may stick with that for now. If I like it a lot, I may just buy a pre-made one later on down the line. AND I just bought one. Someone had a planner for $1 on Etsy so I thought I’d get it. It’s from May of 2021 – April of 2022. I should know by January if this is something I’d stick to. I can’t wait to play with my download. ^_^

It’s pretty and I like it.  I was playing with it and realized that I didn’t finish this post. Oops! :p  I got distracted with that and then I was watching a YouTube video with tips for Apple Pencil. I found some things I didn’t know so that is cool. 🙂 I’m pretty much obsessed with my Apple pencil. :p

So, I ordered some address labels from my friend on Etsy.  They came yesterday and they are the cutest labels ever!  You can find her Esty store HERE 

They are MUCH cuter in person. You know how my lighting is.  I love both types, but the ice cream ones are my favorites.  She has more cute things in her Etsy shop so go check her out and buy something cute for yourself!

Stress

Yes, it was a pretty stressful day. I am not going to get into all that, but I will tell of the good things that happened.  I got my order from Etsy. It's e-reader sleeves. One is a Pacman design and one is coffee.  They are actually bigger than my Kindle, but they will still work for that.  They also will fit my bullet journal so I can use them for that too if I want!  I took a picture.  It's not the best because I waited for them to be delivered all day.  It never said they were but I checked and they were on my porch. The tracker still says 'unable to deliver'. This is twice that has happened with something I ordered.  I don't know what is going on with that.

Anyway, I got them too late to take a picture in natural light so here is the compromise for now.  Aren't they cute?  They are reversible too!  

 

The color is way off in this photo. They are way prettier in person. I'll get a natural light picture tomorrow but I wanted to share how cute they were tonight!

First Etsy order has arrived!

My Etsy order came today and everything is so cute!  I ordered two Starbucks charms.  I got those and a cute little page marker freebie.  Everything is adorable.  The charms are really well made. I love them.  I am not sure where I'm going to use them yet.  I know they looked cute on my travellers notebook!  Here is my order and some other pictures I took:

Etsy, glasses, bujo, and more!

I made my first order to Etsy today.  There is a shop that I've had on my favorites for a while because she has cute Starbucks handmade items.  Tonight I ordered two little charms from her.  They look so cute.  I'll talk about them and the shop when I receive them.  Speaking of Starbucks, I got a big sticker from the Starbucks at Tanger Outlet in Myrtle Beach.  I put it on the front of my new bullet journal today. ^___^  I like it!

Glasses, what about them, you ask.  Well, several nights ago I broke my glasses. OH NO!  I love these glasses and went to Zenni Optical to order the same exact pair.  They were sold out of my frames. WAH!!! They DID have them in pink, but I'm not wearing pink glasses. lol I might order a pair for fun, but not for everyday.  I found a plain pair that are similar to the ones I had and I've ordered them.  I just wish they would get here.  I'm wearing the broken ones with some black duct tape on them.  They broke on the part around one of the lenses.  It's not the best fix, but I can wear them if I'm careful until my new ones come.  I plan to buy another pair next month so I'll always have a backup if this happens again.  I have the pair I wore before these, but the lenses are scratched up pretty badly and it gives me a headache to wear them.

I did some more work on my bujo today.  I still haven't added my Pokemon Go trackers and I'm trying to decide if I'm going to.  I can still keep track with the ones in the old bujo.  Plus, if they keep adding more Pokemon to the game, I'll just have to add more and more.  We'll see.  I'm looking for ideas on Pinterest and Google for spreads for the bujo.  I want to add stuff.  

I am doing my current weekly with the day of the week on the left page and the right page mostly blank. I will use it to decorate with souvenirs of my week.  If I don't have any souvenirs to add or stickers or what have you, I'll just do a 'week in review' written narrative.  I think that will be cool.  Here is next week's layout before the ink:

 

I like this layout because I can add something to the left page on the bottom right and I can put lots of things on the right page.  I think it will work out well for me. ^_^
